weighing in at a pint size 24″x24″ this girl is a fighter. originally, a part of an intended triptych she reigned solo supreme. she was a tough process, taking longer than standard 48″x60″ canvases. she persisted even past the five different times i thought i’d have to toss the actually canvas into the trash because no aspect of it was salvageable. and right there,… very shortly after the umpteenth time of what sometimes feels like the same thing- painting 127 was born of what most of us are, in our perfection so close to disaster.
